Arctic starflower – Trientalis europaea L.

Cloudberry. A bud.

The bud is bursting.
In order to imitate raindrops many photographers bring a spray bottle. But this is real raindrops. I was lucky.

Spring is here and the Dandelions are in full bloom.

Fantastic! Suddenly a Small Copper (Lycaena phlaeas) sat on the Dandelion.
It’s a small butterfly, only two, three centimeters wide.

Oops! We got two suns. Shining from two directions.
The sun is reflecting itself in the brooks water below the Wood Anemone.

I turn one sun off by moving little to the side.

Now the leaves are bursting.
We see it when they mirrors in the brooks water.

Grecian Windflower (Anemone Blanda) is related to the common Wood Anemone.
The petals are larger and more numerous.

Now, we take a walk along the Stenungeån stream.
The Wood Anemones are in full bloom.

Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus ficaria L.)

It’s budding everywhere.

Now, we take a look at the stream.
The first we see is this catkin flowing by.

I didn’t want to reduce these next three pictures.
May I ask you to scroll?

Can you see the face in the water?

We take a closer look at the face.

Thank you for following me all the way!
Now, everything happens fast.
The Wood Anemones are coming.

We creep closer.

But more happens now.
Look at the trees!

And look!
The bees are awake.

And the bumble-bee is eager.

Let’s look for the spring.
We take a walk to Solgårdsdalen.
On the way we find these hairy buds.

At the allotment-garden.
Crocus.

In the south slope the new grass has grown rather high.

Here the brook is flowing.
Can we find the spring here?

We have to take a careful look.
But not through these eyes.

On the ground this leaf carpet is beginning to spread.

Flowing water is always fascinating.
