We are travelling to Karasjok. The city lays 80 kilometers south of Lakselv, near Finland.
In Karasjok many Samies live. The Samies mainly makes their living from their large herds of reindeer.
The area is located high up and the nature is barren. The birch forest is low and sparse.
The ice is still laying on the lakes.
Tomorrow we will take a walk to the mountain near our home in Lakselv.
