Yesterday the whole lake had open water.
It was several degrees below zero.
Yesterday evening the lake started to freeze-up.
During the night it snowed.
Today it’s thew.
Melted snow forms a mosaic pattern all over the lake.
Let’s say goodbye to the lake.
The Åsunden lake lies by the city Ulricehamn, between the cities Borås and Jönköping.
It is a wonderful winter day.
When it’s this cold the sea is smoking.
If this cold continues the sea will freeze-up.
At this distance it looks like the smoke rises up to the heaven forming a big cloud.
On my way home I passed this snow-coated branch.

Here we see a part of The Tjörn Bridge.
Sure it looks like a sitting frog.
This looks dramatic. But it isn’t. The camera doesn’t manage to rightly render a picture taken toward the sun. But the picture is exiting.
Now, we turn our eyes toward the Marstrand Castle.
Don’t be fooled.
The telephoto lens makes objects far away appear much closer than in reality.
